Standing wheat 18, canola under 10 by 5pm, at 8.4 now but heavy dew tough straw.

Oh PLEASE rain, miss us this time! Agree don't want to buy MORE bins! Rain doesn't ALWAYS make grain!

Combines getting stuck already, more rain equals harvest from HELL.

Saskatoon radar shows the storm clouds between North Battleford and PA. Soggy Monday not harvest friendly. Hope it passes quickly.

Meanwhile around here harvest is done apart from some beans and a single canola field that was reseeded in the spring. Half an inch from the "big" rain event last week, ground is dry and very hard. Time to quit pounding fence posts for the season.

Gonna be thanful for terminals with dryers.

We are back to a more typical fall harvest... after equinox till rain stops enough to get at harvesting.

Our wheat second growth now filled... Canola finished off nice with little shrink for those who swathed it. Still needs a good week for dry down... no killing frost yet.

Had 10mm here at Killam yesterday... September Summer Sunday rain as normal this year!!!
Nice reserves for our next crop! This is what saved us this spring... from last fall!!! What a fabulous Canola year it turned out to be... for those with patience!

Looking on Sunday trip to visit Mom yesterday... 20bu later seeded Canola now 40bu/ac... for many who were patient!

I thought you combined all your wheat Tom. Ran 70 you said. Now that the 2nd growth filled the rest will probably run 90. Good for u. Mine is sprouted yielding 45 and won't dry. Amazing what can change if you go south an hour.
