    Old crop beans over $16.00

Just see this morning that old crop beans JULY traded over $16.00. Despite the fact many location have zero or even positive basis. Big U.S. bean acres planted (lol), and big South American crop not hurting price much, at least south of the border. Beans up ALL months. Canola crush margines must be huge here, particularly with our lower dollar.

They will be skinning us blind this fall. Money
    money money. Crushers never lose.
One note it's a later crop all across western
Canada. Most are blooming or starting this week.
Remember every day over 28 they have flower
    blast folks.
It's not going to be a huge crop.

Oops you spoke too some Boader! LOL! Agree
with saskfarmer. Going to be hard to build stocks
of canola in this country but doubt we are going to
see the perfect storm to get us to the prices we
saw last year, at least today anyways the way I
      see it.

But I guess you never know.

Maybe Happy, sorry I should've posted that those prices were from the Globex CBoT e-trade, before the market opened in the pit.

Canola in south central mb is at full bloom, and 33C
temps this week. No big yields here this year, it will
get blasted hard. Next year will be my first year with
no canola in the rotation, beans are with winner. Too
many agronomic issues with canola.. disease, bugs,
leaf hoppers,... never ends with the ugly sister.
