    Surprisingly bearish USDA Corn Acreage Report hammers wheat and canola new crop prices.

    The USDA does it again. I am not sure I agree that this many corn acres were planted but the market is factoring in this information and down go all the grain prices. I will travelling across the Midwest and the Canadian West checking crops the next few weeks.

    Yes, surprising.

    But did they intend to start with 100 million rather
    than 97. No question with all the seed returns
    reported actual acres where less than intended.
    But maybe the starting point was wrong.

    Just a thought.
