Ran my first quad track today - a 550 with a case 42ft turbo tiller. wow, felt like ole J/C himself . I could almost walk on water with that outfit and still do a great feild finish.

Neighbors 500 quad just got an update. Now the
DEF fill and diesel fill are both on the left side.
Much nicer for fill ups. Mechanic spent half a day
doing a software update on it to lug better. Was
just about done the update when the tractor
battery got low and shut the computer down lol.
Let's just make that an all day job now. Then he
spent a 3 or 4 hours fixing his service truck to get
    home. Lol

Good mechanic story I don't envy them mechanics I guess that is all very much figured into the price of the machine anyway. So what is the cash price did you get one? A price? You all done planting already? I just got started today, very moist, and cultivator tractor down with front engine seal leaking bad. Got any spare mechanics these days? Seems there all busy. How hard is it to change a front engine seal on a cummins? I don't do engines.

          Hopper,

I know an excellent mobile mechanic IMO. Very
good, personable and effective. I don't know much
about how busy he is, but its worth a call. He is
          out of Saskatoon.

It helps if you have a shop or Quonset.

Overall what was your impression of the Turbo till
Furrow? We have a Turbo max and it does a very
nice job. We angle the discs a few degrees for
avadex incorporation and it works nice. Heavy to
pull helps dry out the land without much mess.
Guess we'll see how long before we have bearing
            issues.

My brother in law will do the seal when he gets home from camping I just need to ask him yet and hope he has time I am sure I can sweeten the deal up. Oh well time to go to bed and dream about planting with a quad track. Probably end in nightmare about pulling my drill in half. :-))
