Implication for buying a house in the US - better learn how to file a US tax form.

          Uraquay, Equador??

New Pope is from Argentina. Since that
appointment, frost will no longer be an
issue! Cousin the big weather maker in
the sky is now overlooking them favorably,
            eh!

I envy you guys in the heavy clay EXCEPT on a year like this. Lots of snow, slow melt....mid may at the earliest, fast melt, early may but seeding 50% of your acres because of water everywhere. Pick your best evil. Your autosteer won't be able to drive you straight for a mile because of all your sloughs...welcome to my world of potholes and bush. I feel for you.

We met a business man in Frankfurt who told us
he noved his family to Uraquay, bought a nice
home in a gated community, with gardener, maid
for $140,000 US. Kids go to private British
school. This guy saved up $700,000 working in
S.Africa, figures thet will last him all his life. He
says the country is a great place to raise his
family and he still works in Europe, out of
Frankfurt. Uraquay has a great climate-seaside.
He says its the perfect place to retire. Rentals
                  are really reasonable too.
We sort of shelved the US after I went to an
investment seminar and was told that a house in
Vegas can tie up an estate for up to 6 years, who
needs that? Gotta look deeper before buying
                  anywhere but good old Canarctic.

Have not heard much about uragway or equador .

                    Heard chile is nice.

I would hate to buy and get tied down to one spot
then find another better one, guess you could always
                    resell.

Government of argentina is starting to do some pretty
                    freaky things.

Any thing south of the USA is interesting. Laws are different and can change at any time or any dictators wants. Oh Hugo was such a nice guy. Might pay more in a stable country. Yes the USA has problems and will likely take a huge chunck out of Canadians when they sell just cause they can in the near future. One thing is for certain any thing is ok.

Am in Salta, Argentina and is
cool/rainy. More mid teens. A few fields
of corn/soybeans but not as much as
around Cordoba. Still a long ways from
freezing although may be closer in the
Patagonia region. Being here makes a
person realize his how big the country
is and how diverse the land/climate is
                            here.

Larry says..."A sudden blast of Arctic air shocked late planted soy fields in parts of Argentina's main grains province Buenos Aires over the weekend, putting pressure on harvest expectations in one of the world's top exporters of beans and soy byproducts."
                              Did it freeze Charlie?
