      Back in the day when I bid on a field to rent it was for the field. Unseeded I would of thunk was my problem. If a field had poor drainage I sure as hell did not pay a high price for it. I don't understand acre renting either.

        I wish I lived in your world guys.
        NORMALY a foot of dry soil in the fall
        could soak up a foot or two snow no
        problem. But since most of us have seen
        between 50-100" of rain over the last
        three years you can reach the water
        table with a garden trowel in most
        areas, most slough are at least 80%
        full. Unless spring starts in the next
        two weeks and is painfully slow allot
        of areas are ****ed for seeding, at
        least everything north of 16 border to
        border.
