    Newest BS with foreign Buyers!

well after promising to pay on some land beside us and giving small little checks to keep the original owners happy the money has finaly arrived.
Yes its total amount and no it hasnt been flipped.
    Yet!
So original owner had to pay last years taxes before the sale went through so basically he got nothing down. Were talking tinny down payment.
So what is the newest thing they are doing.
Well instead of having Rm maps covered with names that no one has ever heard of they are making up cute names to put on the title so that when an outsider looks at the rm map they figure a small corporate farm has purcased the property.
Oh well sale finally happened and the owners werent stiffed. Just the renters of the property who werent given a chance to farm the land.

    Farming what a wonderful life!!!!!!!!!!

It is very odd the renters were not given a chance to buy.

Maybe its just your tone but it seems it
                  whine, whine whine.

I agree that foreign ownership rules
need to be enforced to the full extent
                  of the law.

I wonder how americans feel when we
canadians go south an buy vacation
                  propery, vehicles, campers and other
personal goods for 50 cents on the
                  dollar or less.....

property in Phoenix or Florida is different, you live their, maybe rent it, but it really doesn't generate profit like land. If a Storm destroys it its gone. Land is still their. You will make if the asset goes up.

This is a huge problem and if farmers sit with their heads in the sand we will get it in the end!
