Canola crusher Renting thousands of acres north. Of valley in Saskatchewan!

Wtf now we as farmers have to compete Against
    grain companies.
    So what am I missing.
Grain companies want to rent land and send crop
to their crushing plants. Yet want me and other
farmers to sell them grain also.
Land purchased recently by so called Canadian
investors from Vancouver in the Southey Cupar
area is going to rent the land now back, no not to
Saskatchewan farmers but grain companies and
so called farmers will seed and harvest.
So farmers who live work and farm in the area are
not worth renting the farm land but are good
enought to sell grain to these companies.
You can't have your cake and eat it to.
I think all farmers should boycott these kind of
companies. Drive right by and sell to their
    competitors.
This is getting to be real BS.
Yes the new owner can rent to who ever but way
to kill the real farmers. Way to go?

Maybe the farmers in that area declined because the rent was too high. There seems to be a lot of that these days.

Maybe those farmers find that doing custom work for these companies will make profits, and payments on thier machinery with considerably less risk that farming it for the crop.

          Just some thoughts.
