Whats everyones thaughts on fridays usda report? Are commodities going to tank on us or be a little bullish. Some are saying 2013 markets will be lower so watch spending. I kind of think this will be the case if the year is normal, however weather issues can change things.

groundspeed . . . Friday's USDA report will likely set the tone for grains into the spring market. And no doubt, there will be some form of a surprise. The Jan report is notorious for triggering limit up or down moves.

U.S. wheat futures now appear technically oversold (IMO). Funds are now building a short position which raises the possiblity of a shortcovering rally should a bullish bone by thrown by USDA.

Feel traders are a little on edge on how big the South American crop will be estimated.


Believe report is released later at 10 am Alberta time Friday.
