    Canola Exports

Just wondering how canola exports are going? I
see domestic crush is a fair ways ahead of last
year and exports were brisk before Christmas.
What have the sales been like the last month and
going forward? My broker told me there hasn't
been much for export sales going forward.
Anyone have the numbers and where you can
    find them?

Won't have today date stats for exports until tomorrow but here is how it looks up until December 16th, 2012.

Exports YTD this year: 3.23 million MT.
Exports YTD last year: 3.37 million MT.

Crush YTD this year: 2.735 million MT.
Crush YTD last year: 2.29 million mt.

With tomorrows stats would suspect that we are at /- 6.5 million mt of total canola usage so far this year. That's probably a little under half the total avalible supplies we have used up in 5 months.

    Crazy.

There isn't any where to find year to date Sales of Canadain commodities on the web. I know weber and others have been good soldiers trying to get the government to get a system in place like the u.s. has to track these types of things.
