    RIM

    What the hell was that?

Down 20% from highs in a few hours?

On a 7 billion dollar company?

        Sell. I don't own any.

But I do, and two other family members have
blackberries yet, others in family had them and
switched to iPhone already. Every kid in the area
had blackberry for BBM ( a type of texting) they all
switched. They all still love them, all other kids
will receive iPhone for Christmas or birthday
presents this winter. Our 3 other black berries
will likely go at renewal time. We have been
waiting watching, it would have to be awesome or
spectacular to switch us all the other way again to
        black berry.

Sad to say for a once great Canadian

Hope it doesn't happen to potash corp. maybe
should try for similar industry like bombardier, or
          say CWB.

It's not the product nor the company. It's the smell of
previous management. And the big investors have
decided there are too many unknowns. Add in I much
prefer the I-phone 5 or Galaxy. Anyone remember
            Nortel?

Blackberry still have a place for business people
with its full non screen keyboard. I can almost
type as fast on bb as I can on a computer. I know
people that have switched that text and email less
as it is slower. Get a lot of weird words and
scrambled messages from people that made the
switch. Web stuff is better on the iPhone though.

I really don't know to much about the industry or
company but their report today was descent,a rally to
13% a close at 4% and then a 9% drop after hours as
reported by zero hedge, makes me wonder a lot of
                things in the broad market.

Its a relatively deep liquid tradable company and we
just had a major sell off on the dow of 200 points at 9
o'clock tonight,so who knows what tomorrow brings.

                  Sorry Cotton you were right
                  Down 17 % this morning
Investor sound rattle about their business mode going forward, seeing there service sector being diminished with BB10, even after decent results yesterday.
I would say that the 4 quarter is going to be terrible because most consumbers holding off purchaseing OS 7 products and waiting to purchase BB10 products.

Im no expert in this field but I would say Apples hay days are behind then and I see Microsoft taking a huge share of the tech market going forward.

Win8 phones are fantastic. Very powerful, simple to use. And no, I dont need 700,000 apps, maybe 10 or 20.
