It always comes down to the old "Beer and Popcorn", hey Vader?

Liberals always know how to spend peoples money better than they do - right?

Tell us what the government has said about farm debt over the past few years Vader. Is it going up? Now tell us how it doesn't matter what kind of job the board does selling our grain. It would sure suck to get some of the world price to pay off the recent bad years.

Maybe we should be turning to organics like yourself?

What a joke. Good luck with your political career.

Adam Smith....refering to your pasting in the Deanna Allen thread and above posts it would seem you are a good candidate for the Cto C course! If you`ve taken it once it would seem that it did not `take`!Maybe they(Rod and Co.) deem that you will not be around in ten years.I`m wondering what percentage who took the Kool-aid at the course are still farming!

VADER VADER VADER your true colors just came out. Typical Liberal, Steal from the rich and give to the Liberal party of Canada.
I am a younger farmer who years ago decided that this is what I wanted to do after University. I have seen Hardship and Prosperity and then Hardship and finally Prosperity again after 30 years. I don't think I will see it again because the next one I probably will not live to see. But here we go again take prosperity away by any means and keep the masses poor.
Yes I have a plan and goals but also a life. Family is first and the rest is second.
But when ones true colors come out and its admitted by a CWB Director, that I am suppose to shut up and take it because you feel you are better judge of how my operation should be done. Its time for farmers to stand up and take the likes of you and do the democratic thing and throw your A-- out of ever position you are ever running for.
          This is CANADA NOT RUSSIA.
And whats wrong with Expanding by 10% a year Business do it the Liberal party of Canada wants memberships to grow by that amount each year but that's OK but farmers Cant.
Latest parcel picked up and bought yesterday, have a great day!

Should you not stop to think Vader about the farmers that did not get a 50 or 70? bushel durum crop and what they might hope for in regards to price in a market like this???

What about the ones that got no rain, or hail, or frost, or bugs????

Do you think they are saying that it is ok to not try and get the best price on the world market for them?

Do you think they should just be happy with crop insurance coverage?

One guy gets a 70 (maybe) and you think everyone must be happy?

God, the more I think about Winnipeg, the madder I am getting - again!.

Vader's posting needs to be sent to the new president and anyone else who might be interested - pronto.

It would be nice to hear from farmers in some of these forums and not just brokers and Alberta Ag professional who do not want any CWB either for monetary or ideologue reasons

As that was directed at me Stubblejumper, please use another diversionary tactic. I haven't brokered grain for two 1/2 years. Makes it much easier when media ask for disclosure before and after interviews. Left wing whacks generally use this angle as a mode to divert attention from the real issue.

Flaman's picking of some farmers over others appears at odds with the CWB Code of Conduct:
                  A. The CWB is committed to engaging in relationships with western Canadian wheat and barley farmers, the public, with the business community, with their employees and among themselves in an environment which:
                  (i) provides service to western Canadian wheat and barley farmers and customers that is courteous, professional, EQUITABLE, efficient, and effective;

                  "(iii) Preferential Treatment
Directors must not act in their official role to assist organizations or persons in their dealings with the CWB if this may result in preferential treatment to that organization or person."

Rod you majorly suck. Not sure why no one posted the fact that our fixed prices have supported the pro. Add up all the unhappy people that had to sell fixed priced durum under the market to support the pro to where it is and to have the CWB to brag that the pro is representative that the Board is doing good. I am flippin mad.
The current pro is not a comparison of how good the board has done. Farmers through their sweat and hard work have paid many millions of their fixed price contracts this year to only hear that the board has got them a better than average bullshit price. Hope this new CEO is listenning to this.

Perhaps Vader the reason I farm is to make my own profit. Not to redistribute my wealth as dictated by the CWB. Also, not to be handed any money by poor marketing choices I have made. I want marketing choice win, lose or draw. Don't tell me that I lost some income just so another could gain some income. Wait a second, is this what the CWB means when they say many sellers will bid the price down. Somehow I only see the CWB do it.

What arrogance, plain and simple. I do not dictate to you how your operation is run. I demand/expect the same in return.

Your failure to respond to anyone on this post is quite telling. You just want to stir the pot, and believe me the broth is brewing for the CWB, but such remarks and non-responsiveness are trademarks of CWB policies.

                      We will do it.

We will ram it down your throat.

                      We will gloat about it.

Tell you how good it is.

                      Then go and hide.

Thankfully I am not frustrated or angered by your comments/statements since I feel the end is near for the CWB and I find it quite enjoyable knowing that even you do not realize that everytime you and the other CWB directors speak and make statements like this it just adds to the inevitable demise of the CWB.

Thank you very much for this post.

                      Oh and screw the CWB.
