    Investing In Sask Farmland

Has anyone experience in land being bought up by funds on pure speculation? Apparently there is an article to that effect in the National Post. This has been quite common in the Midwest U.S.

Heard today 30 miles from my farm some ontario investment firm bought some 20 quarters of land. Already have it rented out also. Coffee shop talk people wondering how the farmer is going to get the work done. Things are really happening around here.

Parsley what has changed is that if the commodity boom stays then they will actually make money. Seems everything is for sale at the right price.

Maybe it is a little more attractive now that Ontario people are actually ALLOWED to buy land in Saskatchewan without being a resident!
