It's a terrible thing. But my question is where are all these Muslim Middle East countries? Why aren't they doing something? Hungary made the comment they can't do any more because it will affect their Christian stability of their own country. And it will.

Rider you are at least consistent now blaming the lack of a solution to the refugee problem on Harper. In the first place Canada is a member NATO and the head of NATO is President Obama. It is President Obama who instigated the bombing of Isis and directed other NATO countries to join. I would also suggest that the refugees are fleeing Al-Assad and his war on his own people, there is a great deal of evidence of the atrocities committed by his forces. You really need to lose the chip on your shoulder.

I find unusual they are leaving shore in poorly constructed boats when they could just scooch over to Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Isreal or Lebanon. Those neighbouring countries have more cultural similarities like religion (for example) than any country in Europe or North America.
There must be some kind of sympathetic middle east type folks. There is an abundance of oil wealth in those countries.
