Dieael, at least in AB is trading at a serious discount to Montana which is traditionally a low price US jurisdiction... i would assume sept/oct price will be heading north. Taking exchange and fuel tax in, plus historical price advantage of Montana, AB should be selling clear diesel @ $1.20/l. Might be a good bet to fill the tanks?

Gasbuddy Blog, paraphrased: While Americans enjoy some of the lowest prices in years at the pump, Canadians suck the hind teat. Predictions are that American fuel prices will be below $2.00/ gal by late fall. Buy the airlines!

American prices for pump fuel will be low because their people and politicians won't put up with oil company bullshit. Canadians wish they could pay more. Let's add on a bunch of carbon taxes, let's get the NDP in federally, bring on 3$/L gas!!!!!

It's coming whether it's a conservative liberal or ndp government.

Otherwise they would be actively looking at fuel prices.

It's a revenue stream for all parties.

Never mind people could be spending money on other things than filling their tanks to get to work.

The US owns 90% of the cdn oilpatch and the govt can't kiss their asses quick enough . remember not long ago there was a huge public outcry here when this shit happened . then the govt of the day would step in and put pressure on . Doesn't happen anymore , ask yourself , why ?
