Sask govt is doing a survey on the Yays and Nays of foreign land ownership.
Available at any Ag office or online at www.saskatchewan.ca/farmland
There will be NO public meetings.

The ****head ag minister shouldest with producers the same way he met with bankers, Doug else etc etc. Etc.

It really doesn't matter who ends up owning it and even I have realized it might be a good exit option.

Problem is who is going to farm it.

Russia tried state ownership. Broad acre tried investor ownership.

Results were the same.

Well if you don't own it then why would you give a **** who farms it. Let the market determine what land is worth not the theory that the guys kid down the road deserves land at 1960's prices because he needs a chance to start out. Like I said before on this subject on this site, if a farmer feels that strongly that giving someone a break is right then go ahead and sell your land for nothing
When or if I sell I want maximum dollar for all of the bullshit and hard work that farming is. And if I sell I don't give a shit if aliens buy it because I'm out

We had the perfect rural system, population, infrastructure in the 60& 70's, but pissed it all away for BIGGER is better more profitable.

Turned more retirees into labor for mega family farms. Destroying the roads/highways/elevators, in the name of EFFICIENCIES for BIG businesses up the chain!

Society gives a SH*T who provides dirt CHEAP food. If it comes back to bite them too f*ing bad, it's all gone forever.

Gov's with NO long term plan or vision. Sell to the Chinese, let them work for f*ck all, taking all the risks.
