    rain event

We have picked up lots of good quick showers but this week there may be an actual rain event.Think our abnormal dry weather is over and back to what has been normal for the past 25 years

I see 3" being forecast for SE AB/SW SK. Will be interesting if they get it close this time!

Rains are not going around us anymore.Block is gone now.things very green around here. Good for pastures but all the sloughs that I was counting on cutting for hay may be much later now.

Last rain we had that made puddles was June 20. If no rain comes this week we are done imo.Last week was brutal on crops with white patches showing up in most fields. Rain won't help early seeded pea crops. Just saying.

Right now it is probably too late to do much good here. Good for next year though. I am just hoping if it does rain it isn't a torrential wind driven rain. Drew sent out afew comments, some areas could be in for alot if rain. Time will tell, wouldn't it be nice if it didn't matter?

Earlier seeded crops around Edmonton and south are turning quickly...doubt much in them. Later seeded may have a chance. Things are green here again, very welcome....

30 to 40 mm predicted for our area, southeast of Oyen. To late for most crops here, although some are just coming up. Will be great for next year though. Here's hoping we get some!
