Good luck!! Getting rain this year is a bit like winning the lottery. Hope your numbers get picked.

    No sarcasm intended.

Was out in your neck of the woods yesterday Tom. The two things that struck as an economist doing the 110 km/hr drive by. The first is how late crops are. The second is variability between fields. Good luck on the rain.

        Hi Charlie,

From 2 tenths to 2 inches within 5 miles this year since the snow melted. Very uneven crops... but as our Sherwood Park farm indicates... the subsoil moisture... for those who conserved it... has brought this crop in an amazing way. Good Rain and then heat would bring it along fast! Peas/Faba Beans are just starting to bloom as is early Canola. Wheat is just waiting for a shower to head out and pollinate. Flax wants a drink.

We'll be below crop insurance coverage yields on some crops regardless of rain event now. Just nicely settled the dust so far.
You have seen the difference in drills all spring. But with no rain all it did was make us have to run the combine.

IR Satellite appears to be moving up from Idaho, the stuff that drowned us in 2007 & 2010, so with tonnes of smoke particles to stick too, and radar looks stationary in AB and SW Sk, IS ANY BODY getting WET??? Is rain washing smoke down?
Choking on f*cking smoke all day here. Enviro statement says those with respiratory issues stay inside...how about we ALL got lung issues now! Like smoking 50 packs of Cigs today!

Those maps are very misleading and inaccurate? There are some areas north and south of CALGARY that have had all the showers and look excellent!!! They are even going to be spraying fungicides if you can believe it
