Now bucket you know every politician ONLY comments on the positive stuff. Drought reduced crops low prices talk is negative for morale/economy, the masses must be kept in the dark, hope it goes away. Nothing ever changes. Like Gormley said once, they NEVER apologize, just deflect.

      Yep good then.

When that new stadium isn't full for every game because 10000 farmers within 2 hours of regina are working overtime to still pay for this disaster maybe someone will comment on the positives of a football team under water financially as well.

It wasn't that long ago the riders were not that much of an organization. They couldn't find money to put down new turf. FFS. Let alone build a 9 game per year stadium.

Losing durant is sort of like losing the money maker canola crop this year.

That's a good analogy. They are reseeding with Kevin Glenn. Good luck with that.

Alberta based prices. All based on the confidence I have at least something to sell and secondly to make real world, I have to sell fall regardless - bills to pay so some crop has to be sold in October off the combine

Canola (1CW) - $12/bu.. Would be buying puts and leave upside open versus ddc/locked in delivery. I would spend the 50 cents/bu for a close to at the money.

1CWRS 13.5 - $7/bu. Price improvement will come from basis versus futures so let things ride on any options strategy at this point. Actually might consider selling MGEX futures at over $6.20 (Dec.). Next week will be a good tester of these opinions.

Durum 1CWAD 13 - New crop bids $7/bu ish. Could be another couple of dollars but nervous. Will go with $8.50/bu.

Feed barley Lethbridge). Would sell new crop $5/bu. Corn/DDG's will limit any bigger gains in feed barley prices.

        Flaxseed - no opinion.

Red Lentils - I like the 32 cent number that started the discussion.

        Yellow peas - $9 ish.

          #1 durum $9.50 advertised $12.50 non advertised

          #1 wheat $7.50

Canola $11.50. Cause cash strapped farmers will need the money

          Red lentils 35cents

          Canary seed 24cent cause
          Mexico can't afford it,
Or Farmers still have lots in the bin,
          Or the us fx
Or booked up stealing from farmers until January on forward contracts
Or millet is cheaper in less freight to Mexico

Bucket. Bang on with Hon. Wall. Driving personal agendas at the backs of the masses is what causes many great leaders to fall. Better be damn careful or this province will go orange again.

Fiacco is the guy that ultimately put the stadium at the exhibition grounds which in itself is criminal.
