How are things looking your way?

You have been absent for awhile.

Things are still green here bucket but not for long. Biggest rain of year 3/10.. Total for year 1.2" so only around 20% of normal. Durim heading at 10", lentils and peas flowering at 6" canola burning up as of today. End result will be the worst crop we have ever harvested.

Wow. . I like your optimism. Talking about harvesting and all.

I will not start a combine for this. Why wreck a 300000 dollar combine for a 60000 dollar crop?

Do people on non-irritated land actually pay $100 cash rent in Saskatchewan?

Non-"irritated" land should have no trouble commanding $100.00/ac.

A couple of years ago there was a land rent/ sale auction near Krydor,SK. It rented for over $100/acre. Really good, big acre , very efficient farmers in that area, good chance they were averaging up some already established contracts for the area.

I should rephrase that , the really good farmers compete for land in 4 municipalities. They have enough manpower, modern, high efficient machinery and semis, their farmland radius grows.
