As the Judge ruled
"ORDER
Based on the foregoing, and all the files, records, and proceedings herein, IT IS
HEREBY ORDERED that defendants’ Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Jurisdiction
[Docket No. 11] is DENIED. "
Just a comment about research papers and court cases etc. Usually there is a summary at the end (like as quoted above). In published papers it is common than there also is a synopsis that summararizes pages of arguments or data into a paragraph.
In this case Ceres Global and Riverland Ag are the defendents. They lost the argument that maybe Ontario would be more to their liking. Or more likely would like matter to not be pursued in USA or anywhere else. Judge in Minnesota explained reasons why he ruled that Minnesota was the appropriate place and "Memorandum Opinion and Order- Denying Motion to Dismiss" was the verdict.
Now how Corus Land Holding Corp was held out to be a non Canadian entity before the Sask Farm Land Security Board; and how they argued they were a Canadian Company in Minnesota is a bit of a quandry. I guess Ceres Global is listed on the Canadian stock exchange; but does that make a company "Canadian". Or more likely an international company of some sort.
Anyway the court case can go on in Minnesota

Better question is "What is your point"?
Come to your own conclusions. What do you think and maybe we will all concentrate on your thoughts and neglect what actually is going on in the real world.
And maybe that will be the last post on such topics. That would be being consistent.
