    Reseeding canola now on land that has been direct seeded (zero tilll) for 19 years and it's hard as a rock in places.
    Top is getting dry. Lots of moisture an inch down and lower.

        Conditions are so subjective. On the discer post some guys neighbor plants at 8mph with discers and gets a good crop every year. Strangest thing i ever heard but very interesting in its own way.

          I was surprised to see that some people have drills built to their specifications. Our unit bought this winter at auction has painted on it, the farmers name it was built for. It seems to be an awesome unit, judging by the comments on our emergence according to the local " crop inspectors". LOOKS good, time will tell. If there is a good rain soon all fields will be comparable.

              I wouldn't know about glyphosate but dammit i cringe watching my kids eat fruit from god knows where And what kind of bug spray they use

                Cotton, I totally agree about the fruit. I once watched W5 on Banana production in Guatemala. They actually tie the entire fruit pod in a bag of Decis type chemical for its entire growing season otherwise there would be no bananas, but now there are "organic" bananas that look just as good in the grocery stores. Then I asked the inspectors at CFIA if they do random chemical checks on boxes of incoming fruit and he said not to his knowledge. I think we should demand better safety screening for sure.

                    Guys couldn't agree more about pesticides. Most people don't know the difference between pesticide and herbicide which is a problem.
