            Western Canada survey system changes at second meridian in eastern Sask.
            East and most of Manitoba has 99 foot road allowances every mile and both north south and east west.
            West of second meridian is 66 foot road allowances separated two miles north south and one mile east west.
            Many untraveled road allowances are farmed across.
            Not sure which was used in most of western US where basic square mile system was used.

                you've asked me something I cant explain my farm size varies from 830 acres to 2029 and everything in between and various shapes but mostly rectangular.

                28 question reluctant to say with fear of getting castigated but yeah 28 thousand acres.

                      wow, with one drill , you sure couldn't do that here , that's 329 ac per ft ! how long do you seed ? and then do you seed it all twice a year ?
