    DRY

Southern AB is starting to get very dry. I think in some spots you can't seed canola into moisture. Very windy. Might pull a Sf3 and do a daily topic on how dry things are and how we could use rain. All we hear on here is how everyone wants wind and no rain constantly. Well it's getting dry and next weeks rain is gone for s AB

If I could send you a moderate amount of moisture from my fields I would.

Maybe don't agree on everything but extremes is frustrating.

Hoping you get some rain. You can have all of what we are to receive.

    The subsoil is mud here.

Southern AB is almost done. No sugar beet contract yet so likely taking a year off. Seed canola going in this week because irrigation water is arriving. Just dry beans left to seed. Some canola seeded two weeks ago on dry land but emergence is some what spotty.

Believe me, I will not get sick of it if you complain that it is dry for a year or a decade. You would have reason to have concern, so I would not slight you.

Either too wet or too dry, it is a bad thing.

Hope you get OUR rain, and we get your warmth and wind. How does that sound?

Hey walk after 8 years of drought then you can tell me how well all the programs don't work and how it is. But till you have 8 shitty years your not even in the ball park. Enjoy the year. Because today was the best seeding conditions I have had in 8 years, actually enjoyed seeding. Ah maybe we're almost back to normal.

Keep in mind that SF3 does all this bitching with a 32 bu/ac. canola crop from last year.
