Finally last night a few got started in our area. On worked ground or burnt ground or lighter land canola stubble. We will be full force today. Oh well some wheat I planted last Tuesday in garden on south side of house just popped out yesterday that's 12 days in the ground. Were finally warming up.

What forecasting,,, went from 70mm forecast, now down to 3mm ! WTF
Now what to do, will the forecast hold or will it revert back. Weather forecasting in Canada is sooooooo convoluted ! I'm trying to make $100,000 decisions around this!

Weather forecasting is another part of the infrastructure deficit in this country.

You hit the nail on the head boarderbloke... But, I wouldn't want to be a meteorologist, weather is too unpredictable. BUT WHY FORECAST RAIN AMOUNTS especially so far in advance. Weather can track 50 to 100 miles in a different direction that anticipated.
Farming is too small of an industry for weathermen/women to care about... just watch the weather network and see where all their focus is...

                Happy and Safe seeding everyone.

Being a meteorologist would be a great job.

Where else can you get paid for being wrong.

                      Seriously.

                      It's a win win job.

For instance if this next system doesn't prove out everyone is happy being able to seed. They forget about the weatherman.

If he is right it was predicted. One more gold star.

For me, either way I am behind.
