Just think what farmers could do with better farm group leadership.

Sounds like someone needs to do just that and not just anonymously talk about it on Agriville.

Nothing anonymous about our rkaiser. I can vouch for that.

We are having the same problems in MB, except the names have been changed. The real problem is not whether the government is NDP, Conservative, or the Rhinocerous party. The real problems come when one party holds power for too long. It's only a matter of time before they get to believe that they can do whatever they like and the unwashed masses will vote them back in. The good of the party soon comes before the good of the people.

Personally, nothing gets my back up quicker than when politicians choose to try and use scare tactics and trash talk about their opponents rather than actually say they have good ideas of their own to justify re-election. It's an indication that they really do have no good ideas or plans of their own. They would rather take the easy way than do some honest work.

Every once in a while you need to run a good virus scan, defragment the political hard drive, and do a reboot. Wake them all up and remind them who is working for who.

katoe, you are right about using our money. The link I posted to the Rona Ambrose comments - that was from a press conference at the Royal Alex hospital in Edmonton. Ambrose is Federal health minister - so the taxpayer is paying her to meddle with provincial politics to promote the Conservative cause.
              Totally inappropriate.

The good news is that the main beneficiary if AB votes NDP, will be Saskatchewan.

In Alberta we spend more per capita than any other province in Canada on government services. The NDP believes in the government playing a larger role in our lives and they want to tax big business and the wealthy higher to pay for it. I am not wealthy or a big business but I don't believe my children and grandchildren should still be paying for the benefits I receive today. I believe the NDP will lead to bigger government, more taxes and more debt. Why does this make me a redneck?

Has the size if government or government involvement shrunk with a conservative government in alberta?

You might be a redneck if:

You blame the high spending on Government services by the PCs after 44 years in power on the NDP who aren't in power. LOL
