Prefect timing, the $250 million can help balance the Harper budget. Just like the sale of the GM shares for three billion dollars.

The budget was delayed so this money could be thrown in the pot. If he can't do it with proper fiscal management Harper will sell off Canadians assets to make it happen. Quite the economists (mail room clerk)

The government getsthe 250 million you bunch of dummies. I cant believe farmers were actually dumb enough to think they owned those rail cars, freighters, big building on portage and main. We were played like a bunch of idiots. We were just paying the wages of those that handed us the leftover money from our predecessors blood sweat and tears. It is gone and that is it,end of story. Do you actually think they would of sold this thing to FNA. Dream on,FNA is just about as much farmer owned as the CWB was. Its not even a publicly traded company.

Thought the CWB was 100% farmer owned.

The CWB was not 100% farmer owned. It operated "at the pleasure" of the government. Without such, the government guarantees would not have been possible.

It is OK to sell farmers cwb to Saudis but wrong for Canadian money to buy sask farmland.

The CWB was farmer OPERATED not farmer owned. They used your money to market your grain and that was the law. It never ever stated that you owned a stake in the CWB.

The way I understood it there is no 250 million.
They just agreed to make about that much investment to improve the CWB in the future?
                    Attaboy Ritzie!
