The bigger event of the day is the start of the Duffy trial.

Better get your cheque book ready as your beloved Harper is going to need your funds to keep the big Con machine running for the up coming election. The Duffster is going to make things very ruff on Harper.

Oh yea, has any of your Conservative freinds acknowledged your hunger strike against the RRs, and are willing to help your cause?

Hunger strike? I think that's all over foragefarmer - haven't heard about it for a few days - I think maybe the chocolate bunnies got the better of him.

Reminds me of the joke about Ireland's most successful kamikaze pilot - just returned from his 22nd mission.

Tom, we don't have elections in Alberta, just Coronations. Prentice is a snake in the grass! On the other hand, who is Brian Jean? Nobody ever heard of him. My only prediction is that the NDP will be the official opposition, there will be many obnoxious robo calls and awful adds all over the media. I'm thinking of starting a campaign - Demand I'm sick and tired of it and hell no, I won't vote for anyone- to be included on the ballot. Might get the most votes.

Gotta go to the polls early because even the PC's figure the economy will get a whole lot worse. I like Rockpiles idea: None of the above.

I'm lucky to have Joe Anglin, the Independent MLA in our constituency. Always brings a fresh perspective and digs for the truth. A recent revelation from Joe :

"Do we need to raise corporate taxes? Good arguments on both sides, but what if we just required all (international) corporations to pay a tax? Companies like the multi-billion dollar AltaLink (Transmission Facility Owner) do not pay any taxes whatsoever. In fact none of the TFOs in this province pay taxes - it's the law. This is what the public does not realize. Why should Alberta taxpayers guarantee an income to a foreign owned company (TFO) that is not required to pay any tax. It is estimated that if we just required the big international corporations to pay the existing tax we would be in a surplus."

We need more people like this in Government.

Corps are the economic engines of the economy and the working drones are the parasites of the economy and Corps....
