    Yesterday canoeing...

    Today, skating?

Well the water broke through yesterday. But now it is minus 9. Took the canoe out on the creek yesterday with the kids. We built a raft out of empty sheep mineral tubs, and used a calf type sled for another boat. Kids had a blast racing eachother.

But today, and for the next week, highs are -2 to plus 2, so maybe we can go skating! Lows -8 to -11, so should get a good freeze.

Got a couple inches of snow overnight and still snowing lightly.

Yup, this is April all right!

Sad but true, but good on you to show the kids what good clean fun is all about. Took our 14 year-old granddaughter on first driving lesson at the farm. Many baby lions head baby rabbits at the farm. Batch # 2 are starting to show their faces. Guess now we know what productivity means. Rabbit stew anyone?

Right on , make hay while the sun shines .
We can canoe for three miles across some of our best land right now , portage once and float to hwy 4 north . Might stop for a beer or two ..

Portage all bridges here. Otherwise could go all bad.
