What Happened to Vision in AG in Canada!

Funny article I read today from Larry. It was a Tim Horton moment that caught my attention.
See back in the early part of the last century the Gov. of Canada had vision to get prairie grain out and to areas that needed it. No land lock, shitty rail service etc.
They build back then terminals in Moosejaw, Saskatoon, Calgary etc.
Why don't we have vision in Canada like the USA.
Buffet is a smart man and sees what's needed. He realizes like farmers you have to spend to make some times. Yes some years you spend more than you make to get ahead but its the investment into your business that takes farms ahead.
Yes BNSF might have to penny up and spend some 10 billion or more but guess what once the infrastructure is built then Buffet will make money by his improvements. Who cares if he becomes a Trillionaire. Its vision.
Again I ask why cant someone in Canada have vision in industry.
Vision isn't telling farmers to Over produce to feed the world only to have basis quadruple because of extra supply then have a rail system that can only handle a basic crop. Have ships play round and round and round demerge game in Vancouver.
Industry needs to get up to the plate. Shareholders dividend is nice but once you kill the golden goose its gone.
If top notch farmers are thinking of getting out maybe that's a early sign politicians that Ag more than ever isn't working. Or is that the plan all along then the ones left will work as Serfs for the Grain companies all is perfect in the world.
    V I S I O N!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe a joint venture of 22 billion or more. Bring in Grain companies some way, leave control in Gov. Have tax break if they spend on them selves but if they join a big tax break.
Built a twin line east west on north and twin on south. China can tunnel through a mountain. DAh the Rockies can be tamed. Build a super terminal that is Canadian Gov. owned Managed by the Canadian military. Load boats in 24 hrs.

I don't know just thinking out side of the box.

Come on industry get your shit together.

Antagonist Wednesday..... some will say why build it just to have it regulated?

Come on "Canada" time for another National Dream. Show the existing extortionists you mean business. Why have the economy held hostage? Lots of growth has ooccurred and more is coming, how is the existing infrastructure going to handle it.

      SEND BACK THE RANSOM NOTE!!!!!

We have to quit this idea that every one gets a piece of every thing and does nothing.
Ag is prime example. They want us to over produce, then Industry cant handle the results.
It has to be happening with other things.
        VISION!
That wins votes what we have now is a shit show.

If they took the money they are using to blow up Syria and Iraq or Iran it would go a long ways on building this country to its potential.

But let's be a sheep and followed every other country into that area and lose.

What happened to vision for the country as a whole.

Buffet is building. I remember when he bought Bnsf. He was on cnbc and said the railways are the key to rebuilding the nation.

You can't have semis running back and forth from calgary to winnipeg when most of that could be on rails.

From both an highway infrastructure and environmentally trucking g makes no sense. But more than likely the government will start a program to teach more people to drive trucks. Too stupid to see it would make more sense to retrain fired conductors than truck drivers.

Also found out rules changed on New Canadians. I'm speaking farmers from South Africa wanting out and access to Canada and its farm land. But lets bring in more truck drivers and Timmy workers.

Read/skimmed the whole 112 pages. Thousands of facts and figures, bottom line NEED way more rail service. Wonder who got copies of this report? Brad better get on the Federal case, yesterday.

I agree... DAy 30 Jackson Hunger Strike!

CNCP seem to either not care about what they do to grain growers... or are BULLIES. I thought that was illegal in Canada!!! Just not a problem to CNCP... according to Alberta CourtS!!

True Fact: If the railways were required/ordered , to pay the demurrage on the ships waiting for grain at the coast , all of a sudden you would see their performance pick up in a real hurry! There is no ACCOUNTABILITY in the system. That moron Lisa Raitt doesn't have any more brains than the Markx Brothers. She's just a spokesperson with no credibility anyways. Doesn't anybody find this shit slightly ironic?
