    So are they ordered left to right capacity versus delivered?

          If you rely on CP, then the closer you are to Calgary the more likely you've had great service. Especially if you deliver to a main line point. Talked to a friend of mine from Dalum today and he's down to his last 2 bins of grain (wheat) that he could have hauled this week but his yard is too wet for loaded trucks. Everything else was called in advance of contract dates. So there you have it - a bit of a game to make the car numbers look good. Quick turnaround times.

            Vancouver is open year round. Thunder Bay only a partial year. E.Sask grain companies don't order cars until spring. That may explain some of the difference?

                Can Anyone explain the complete ordering and spotting procedures? Who does what, how cars are ordered how many available and who says to spot how many where?

                  Bethune is the Mobil Grain transload facility and probably includes their other location at Aylesbury and maybe some others as well? Not sure.

                  The Regina facilities include Alliance Pulse Processors and Legumex Walker. Likely more of a transfer type operation than a storage facility.
