Agree with MBgrower.

Drop all subsidies for useless degrees such as liberal arts, etc.
Fund the practical diplomas/degrees that are in demand and needed in society and promote trades.

We will always need concept people. Steve Jobs would not have taken engineering or programming at university. He had the ideas and needed someone who could grasp his concepts to bring them to reality. Great societies have fostered thought and imagination.

Remember when the sask government cut nursing positions?

They still haven't got caught up.

Wait til they have the same problem finding farmers and ranchers. The concessions will be huge compared to keeping a generation on the farm.
