Extremist action like that is just a byproduct of modern agriciture. We have moved forward so fast with growth and technology we forgot about potential side effects of not educating people along the way. All they see is what they see. Our industry is consumed by drive for profit and we've left the consumers to go decide for themselves.

Railways - free market driven by profit
Grain Co's - free market driven by profit
Chemical Company's - free market driven by profit
Grain farms - free market driven by profit

Nothing wrong with profit and capitalism, but profits have gotten to a point where they are now beyond any level previous generations could have fathomed. Greed has set in and actions that drive business decisions have somewhat lost their conscious.

Wow! That's pretty awesome. That just saved me $10,000 in marketing, advertising.
That lot of kids will remember participating in that production. It was quite elaborate, they sent a message for sure.

Funny they didn't show New McDonald spreading e coli laden animal feces overtop of his produce, or drenching them in Rotanone and Copper Sulfate. His animals suffering and dieing slowly from curable afflictions.

View this from the other prospective and see how ridiculous this inuendo filled marketing campaign really is.

It's like the Organic sector wants to make enemies. Stupid.

              No sarcasm on this one.
Why dont regular farmers use Agvocate or accept the help from Bayer to make a kick ass advertisement to describe what is really being accomplished on conventional farms? Some of my neighbors grow enough grain to supply enough nutrition to supply a small country.

So conventional farms should play nice while the Organic industry spreads manure about them?

These downtown clowns are poisoning the relationship I have with my Organic neighbours. Mutual respect only stays mutual if both parties mind their own knitting

I did not look at all the content, so I did not see an organic farmer dong any bashing. I think the advert is for USDA organic. This would include processors and organic food makers, distributors etc. They may be looking for a way to gain a competitive advantage over other products. I Dont know I have not joined that organization.....yet.

This has nothing to do with the USDA or grower groups. It is BIG Organic retail trying to scare people into their stores. Marketing at it's lowest level.
