How many months a year do you work?

Just wondering how many months a year do each of you work on your farm.
It has been said that apparently we barely work five months a year.

          Hobby, lol.

I have a lot of neighbors driving those same trucks, parked at the curling rink, let me tell you.

That is, when they are home. The other 3 months they are on holidays in some warm climate.

I agree with crusher. Some months more than others.

So the tone on here is that it's better or more honourable to never stop working then those who spend the winters in warm climates? When you read threads on agriville the general tone is those farms that are larger, run new equip or take lots of holidays are somehow not as decent of farmers or really people. I would say many posters here are very jealous of others and need to take shots to make themselves feel better. Pathetic. Ever thought that working to live is better then living to work?

Vvalk. Have you ever heard of HUMOR? Or SARCASM?

Go get some. Don't take a good ribbing so seriously. I also have too many neighbors like that. I tell them a joke, and they look at me with a completely blank expression.

Sheesh, I re-read that. Jealous? I have not got a jealous bone in my body. Why would I be jealous of someone with a 400 000 dollar contour drill, growing poorer crops than I do with a 20 000 dollar outfit? lol
