    Heard the same thing before the CERN collider was first started about half a decade ago. It actually found proof of the Higgs particle in 2012. Too bad the Daily Mail did not learn of that discovery.

    I think the collider operated from around 2008-2012, Ithas been shut down since late 2012 for upgrading. Will now operate at about double the previous power.
