Capitalism, dictatorship by the "rich"...he that has the money calls the tune.
Democracy only works if those with the power have morals and are honest. Wait for that....

Maximum fees recorded with CGC for elevation, cleaning etc. could add up to more than $15 per tonne.

And everybody sits here, on agriville, and ******* and complains. Everybody should be sending emails, texts, whatever to the people that said this wouldn't happen. Ritz, Anderson, Harper and anybody else they can think of. Bitch on the ears that said it was going to be better.

I have called mps and for the most part their staff really don't give a shit.

It seems you are wasting their time.

Last week they told me that the ag coalition transport report was not accurate.

Then you just get frustrated with the nonsense.

You can send all the emails you want to your Conservative MP on any subject. They will reply with PMO speaking points or not reply at all, which happens more than often a not. It's getting to the point that I feel it's a waste of my time and energy.

I going to get my ass kick for this comment but I'll put it out there anyways.

We got what Ritz STATED farmers wanted. The open market. Now live with it.

No farmers wanted a functioning open market.

              It's dysfunctional now.

To have an open market the transportation system has to work well.

We have been set back 20 years in grain logistics. No one is willing to admit it.

And the longer they wait to fix it the harder it will be to fix.

                Forage

I do concur with your assessment of conservative mps.

They could do a lot better.

Doesn't matter much to me now. They have list my vote this go around.

Here's another thing that makes one wonder what's going on.

CGC week 28 Grain Statistics report shows Pacific ports with 904,100 tonnes of various grains in stock as of Feb 15.
81% of total capacity. This would be viewed as over working capacity and up from 667,600 tonnes three weeks ago.
Bad weather? Breakdowns? Wrong grades delivered? Who knows? There are ships waiting. One thing for sure is that the terminals will not unload rail cars at full speed with this situation.
An outstanding grain sales report like the US industry has would be helpful.
