ISIS is not creating a crisis. They have a caliphate to build. And they need territory. Their object is not oil. Not holiday time. Not a week in Vegas.

I'm not surprised at the adherence to Sharia, but the references to the Caliphate and the old verses of Islam was surprising. I had envisioned them as mere jihadist thugs. They are much more.
