    Good read.
The Dark Ages arguably lasted 500 - 1000 years. Religion was a major culprit. How do you stop this one?
I agree we don't understand Isis clearly. But I want to see Saudis, Turks, Egyptians, Syrians etc. take care of this for a while.
Oh yeah, and tell them to take their oil and shove it!

What is amazing to me black, is that there is essentially absolutely NO room for compromise, or change , or subtlety. The word of the prophet must be followed exactly... Or the fanatic loses his status as a true Muslim.
      No electric shock; gotta behead.
No community work; gotta chop a thief's hands off.

It's almost funny if it wasn't so bloody sad. Pars

Oil - blackpowder? Did you say oil? That could have nothing to do with anything in the middle east could it? Come on now you guys, this is all about religion. LMAO

Should the stuff that "we" (I am not alone whooohaha) see happening in the money markets not kick in just yet, watch that oil price rise as ISIS kicks things into gear. Big move in Libya today by the so called ISIS crew.

ISIS is nothing but a tool in the money bags bag of tricks. Like you say - good story though. Almost as good as "lord of the rings".

back to the forth word on your first post on the thread pars. It's a damn good thing you have uncle sam to the south and a "moat" called the atlantic and pacific protecting you from these dudes and their Toyota trucks.

Hopefully the inelasticity of their logic is their Achilles heel. Like the sci-fi movies where the villain computer self destructs..... Well, a few mushroom clouds wouldn't hurt either.

Put your thoughts about politics aside, rkaiser, and just sit back and think about the tens of thousands who hang on every word Mohammed ever wrote, who we cannot reason with. Nor negotiate with. Nor threaten, because they view dying is a gift. Nor educate, because they they aren't prepared to reason.

It's a cultural phenomena, in 2015, is it not ? pars

And if you like shots across the bow rk may I suggest 1000 modern nuclear reactors generating safe ,clean, sustainable electricity to replace some of that morally dirty oil.
Electricity and full cupboards might lead to some revolt behind those burkas. It has everywhere else.

bp, they just can't fit into modern society , can they? Whether it's the scholars who have studied Islam all their lives, or the goat herders who cannot read, it's the same with all of them. Cant be something in the water. Gotta be something in the sand. Olay boys, I could go with genetic modification for this problem.

                    Did I say that?
