Gas and fuel prices ? federated co-op

How come everyone is so quiet on gas prices ? and not just farmers . Gas in Saskatoon has gone up 25 cents/liter in last 2-3 weeks . wtf is going on ? and why is no one is saying a word . has everyone just given up ? no one is asking govt if there is collusion in pricing , or price fixing , guess that would be classed as a stupid question at this point . oilpatch workers getting laid off every day and refineries just keep gouging and our federated co-op is leading the pack here . I notice co-op gas station prices in saskatoon are always one of the top prices, usually 7 or 8 cents over . Costco and others . someone said cheap fuel would help the economy , well where is the cheap fuel ???
maybe someone from federated can explain why they need $1 a liter for gas with oil at $46 , they are supposed to have our interests in mind also

Don't we all own the co-op?

Equity will be huge this year - not.

Their last project only went 800 million over budget. As the engineer laughed telling me that.

Who is going to do a thing about it?

Both government call it market forces as opposed to collusion or gouging.

It's like changing the term from global warming to climate change.

    More acceptable.

How about seed, fertilizer, groceries, etc. I think the days of government stepping in to regulate prices is gone. The crude suppliers are different than fuel processors, just like the farmer isn't the one getting paid for the box of Cheerios.

In Saskatchewan we have 30 cents/liter taxes on gas if you subtract that from the North Dakota price it's only 3 cents difference.
