Great idea. Let's get the SW Commission on side and get our checkoffs working to support a form of public breeding!

V my point is canola with all the extra costs due to seed we are not getting the benefits for the extra cost. Years ago canola made us money when all you guys were growing wheat etc. it paid the bills yields were good and costs were min. Today the new system we get shit varieties some so bad whole fields crash like L150 and in return were given lip service the new l252 is better. So buy buy buy, support us some more, oh were the only game in town.
This seed thing is the end of farming. Uses less varieties and 40 plus a acre to the big three.

80% of the wheat varieties grown in Kansas from farmer owned jointly with the U of Kansas developed germplasm.

Its depressing reading this set of posts and the beat down woe is me sentiment.

Its an opportunity handed to us, but Canadian farmers are certain to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Our sask wheat commission and our neighborly AB wheat Commission and our other neighborly MB wheat commission collect how much in revenue?

If they focused on the change, it would change.
