    Positives in Ag in Canada!

    1. Diesel is dropping in price, yes its winter shit but still kind of nice to fill up the big tanks and pay 20% less.
    2. No one is shooting at you for drawing a cartoon or you don't need a guard at the side of your field with a Ak47 just to protect you while your spraying seeding or harvesting.
    3. This cold weather does kill bugs and naturally causes the soil to frack.
    4. Stable government. Even if we don't agree all the time with what their doing. Yes we should all be more involved so farmers rights are protected not squandered away.
    5. I'm grasping at straws for the 5th but others must have some positives that I have missed.
Add to the list its a cold cold windy thirsty Thursday!

You honestly think what happenned in France can't happen here? Actually most people I talk to expect it will. We ve gone too far with the lets hold hands mentality. Jmo

I would add that Ag has done a lot to allow you to grow wealth. You have on Agriville and if I remember right, you purchased land a few years ago ahead of the run up in prices. I suspect net worth has improved quite significantly.

The part of ag that appeals to me is for 5 months the stress level is 1/3 of what it is for the other 7.

In our day to day life there are a lot of positives but on the farming front they can be hard to find at times, if you look long and hard enough you'll see some. But let's be honest both ways....
