As we bend over they hand us the Vaseline and we let it happen.
Ugly ugly what's happening and it's so obvious and kind of funny how they can screw us so bad and we're all happy and glad!

Hook onto a Timpte or Wilson trailer, and haul it down there... Bring corn back for a local feedmill that needs it.

Send samples to US elevators and if agreeable load rail cars. It works you know.
Rail car service Is not near as predictable as in the past but it can be done.
You need a place to weigh with printed tickets. have a big swing auger and load 2 btrains into a rail car.
For an extra $3.00/bushel, or $9900.00 per rail car it might be worth the effort. The welfare organic guys can load a rail car for less than $9900.00, they are so broke they keep the difference for themselves.
DO NOT OVERWEIGHT A RAIL CAR. Big fines. Better to be 2 tonne short than 2 pounds over.
Most farms concentrate on growing large volumes and dump it through the grates at the local. To each their own.

Klause, saying something like that is going to get farmers all excited. I live very close to the border, and yes we had terrible rains and in places lots of fusarium here, but almost all here that have taken wheat and durum there are hearing the same thing. NOT EVEN INTERESTED. Oh, we will take it off your hands for 4.50-5.00, but we will send up a truck. Maybe we just live in a bad area, or have to make a two three day drive further south.

I haven't had any luck trying to haul 12.0 protein 2red south of the border either. They hear it's from Canada and that's the end of conversation. Truthfully I haven't tried very hard yet. Might have to get serious about it the way the thieves are sticking it in us now on these basis levels.

Hopper, I'm working on the 46 actually... Have a few calls in.

Actually same place that took my wheat last yr, I said I'd give them business this yr both ways.

                  Hauling to the USA requires:

                  1. A decent quality wheat. High protein is king, but fuz-free is good too.

                  2. Don't run for an elevator close to the border, travel at least to Mn, SD, or southern Montana.

                  3. Don't be an asshole. I'm not saying anyone on here is... but I was down there, and a Loudmouth from Sask was bitching out their grader saying "well in Canada it's a #1. How come it's a #3 down here." yada yada yada... that kinda stuff gives us a bad rap.

                  4. educated yourself about grades. High prices are for DNS (Dark Northern Spring). Similar to a #1 CWRS. Proteins in the USA are usually .5% higher.

                  5. If you want to haul to an American COOP type elevator, of which there are many, buy a membership. Invest some money in them. That way you're not just a one-time-wonder. The dividends are pretty good and in USD.

Ok the point is we should not even have to think about it - you guys are not getting it..
We should be at least close !!! No???? What the *** am I missing here ???
How on earth can we be that far out ????
I am not comparing grain from here to mars for *** sakes - this is not that far away.
Do I need $12 .. no . would it be nice to be close.. yup, but that's not the fukin point at all....
We should be within $1/ bus of any similar grade wheat grade in central North America at any point in time, what is happening is fukin crazy. There is virtually no good wheat in Canada from 2014, WTF is going on ??
