Canada entered a recession likely late summer, this will placed an exclamation mark on it.

Energy sector washout with Cdn banks attached to it. Real estate next?

      What is the dollar doing?

Bank stocks might go down but their profits are secure.

Wouldn't oil producers be using the same marketing techniques that farmers are learning now?

Wouldn't they have presold production for years out?

          Just asking?

          Wouldn't their lenders expect it?

Ballparking off their findncials,cp is 50% hedged at 90.

So easy numbers 50% cut in price to 50% percent of revenues is 25%.

            Gross revenue in q3 1.1b,net 258m=25%net/gross

May have to cut some dividend, but i doubt they are in any trouble.

This is all ballpark 10 minutes of reading stuff,so no clue how accurate.
