    Alta. Fusarium Control Program (Tom...?)

Page 3 of the Western Producer has a story on fusarium levels in seed sold for planting.

The tolerance was zero but I think they are finding it hard to maintain. Now they are saying even a .5% level is burdensome and unattainable.

What's the big issue if seed treatments are PROPERLY applied?

What I find ironically hypocritical is #1 CWRS is only allowed .25%. I suppose you could argue the two scenarios aren't the same. But a zero tolerance in impossible in my mind. Environmentally, there will be nothing you can do to stop the advance of the spores moving east to west. Weather conditions will dictate the progression of it's presence.

    Tom, what do you think?
