FNA should hire Pike to raise capital. I can't believe the guys he talked into loaning money to his operation, at the 11th hour when he was broke and likely had no chance of making it. Guys running billion dollar hedge funds. Totally amazing.

        Dave4441,

I also noticed some big efficient farms on the list that invested in shares. Ii think they hired his management group.

Shareholders/investors are not on the list, only creditors.

I think some of them are actually land renters to Broadacre. Maxcrop is the one the comes to mind as being owed rent from this current crop year. There are a couple others as well that simply rented their land to Broadacre and wont get paid.

that list is the tip of the iceberg of who is going to lose money out of the broadacre deal. The list is does not include equity investors and they probably wont get a cent of their money back let alone any kind of return on their investment.

At least land owners will get their and back.
I sold/gave grain to pork farm, they fed/sold pigs gave income to pay themselves/lawyers and accountants. I couldn't even get pig manure when they were done.

Some on the creditor list are investors. Gary used a derivative called profit participation issued by CIBC to get around foreign ownership laws.

I think under one of the documents on the trustee website there is a list of investors under this method and the amount that they invested.

This one will hurt Gary, he gave personal guarantees and the loan to AFSC was a personal loan to him and his wife.

He would have sheltered some assets in his son's name initially.

But how much coolaid do you need to drink to believe this level of BS. When you miss the mark consistent by 40 to 60 % for three years, guess what you have established to earning capacity of the operation and it is 40 to 60% below the fantasy number you are trying to sell.

During the last election it was stated that a pasta plant would be built when the CWB no longer had a monopoly. Is the plant operating? Will it support domestic durum prices?
