    FCL - diesel

At the retail pump - $1.299

FasGas other end of town - $1.209

    Co-op Farm diesel w/tax in is $1.177

2 weeks ago it was $1.023

Glad I can get that big dividend check, that i've already paid for.

You didn't pay for your dividend, you are paying for the cost overruns on the last expansion.

I never quite figured out the logic of paying more to get your money back and still pay more than the competition.

I once asked about it on some spray. I wanted them to match the price down the road. The coop guy said you won't get equity back at the other place. I said even with equity back I am still paying more at the coop. Finally gave up and went elsewhere.

Could the higher prices at some co.'s be the cost of hedging too far out, now those have to work through before having the margin to lower the retail price?

There is short supply in the northern US. The price will come down after harvest is done.

Filled the tandems last week at the pumps...97.9 cents a liter..for farm fuel..You are getting hosed by your coop only..Must have new buildings to pay for ...There price is mostly cheaper, and at par at the worst with Petro Can..Chem and fert prices are the same as competitors..Plus BIG rebate cheque in the spring...

At the pump diesel here has always been way out of line with gas or bulk diesel for that matter.
