    Here we go again V.B.P

Time for cattlemen to create themselves new protocols; have biosecurity assessment; engage deeper into food safety; receive vet advice etc.etc

"Proof of Responsible Management"; complete training and so on.

Is this really necessary and more importantly....where does it end?

Not to worry Oneoff Canada is pretty naive in the implementation of such programs. You only have to enrol in the program, do a 20 minute online multiple choice questionnaire to qualify for funding (in AB) to get a new squeeze chute with neck extenders to reduce the (supposed) broken needle problem when injecting.
We got a $5500 chute for $1800, no need to complete the VBP process or comply with the record keeping components going forward.
Typical bureaucracy - job creation - and a chute manufacturer subsidy. Don't think it's a great use of taxpayer money but if it's there i'll use it.
