SF3 is screwed. Oh well it's just a shit crop, he can pick it up and sell it in the spring for the same price!

Agree for most with crop out she is over till spring. Nov is a week away. Or drying is going to be costly. Oats and wheat worthless in spring so must do everything to get dryer running 24 7.

Bit of a catch 22 for people with cereals still out there. It's hard to justify drying low quality and value grain.

Surely better to dry it than lose it?

True hedge. At this point may have to spend 50 cents or a dollar per bushel to dry If it snows but better than a worthless spring crop. Some may weigh in crop ins. Starting next friday we have daily highs of plus one for a week. So some freeze drying taking place but wont get dry anymore. Snow in swath If happens enters hopper and creates a lot of wear and tear on combine. Elevators will take snow if have lots of dry. Cannot put snow in grain bin. Will not come out Of bin. Must be on pile.
