Russia talking more trade with China?

Can Russia grow soybean to the point where it affects U.S. exports, and lowers veggie oil prices even more? Could China be supplied from S.A. and Russia?
Sticking the USA with surplus beans would not be good for canola prices.

There is no surplus beans in the states. They had been importing.

And harvest in the states is being met with weather delays.

If anywhere in the Former Soviet Union is going to grow Soybeans over large acres it will be Ukraine. Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan don't have the Corn heat units for big production numbers.

I think right now the Russian federation only produces about a quarter of Canada's production. They have a long, long way to go.
