Crude oil up, higher fuel prices, crude oil down higher fuel prices, loonie down higher fuel prices, loonie higher, higher fuel prices. Lots of crude not enough refining, so fuel shortage. What IF demand slows? Oh they just slow down the inadequate refining capacity to keep screwing us with the prices.

On the food prices our products are such an insignificant part of the price in the store that it makes NO diff even if it tripled. But still makes the news when grains went up to justify prices increases by the rest of the chain. What a sickening situation.

On a bright note, my local retailer says canola seed has only gone up 2 and a half per cent from last years price. Even though the furures have dropped about 150 bucks/t in the same time period.

Energy price fallout is now taking a toll on the TSX. Toronto index now off about 7% from recent highs. Venture markets one of the hardest hit off more than 10% which is considered a correction phase.

Have central bankers finally met their match?
